Inner Voice
supports people experiencing homelessness as they work toward stability,
self-reliance, and a place to call home.
Founded
in 1984, Inner Voice serves individuals and families facing housing insecurity
through a holistic continuum of care; from emergency and transitional housing
to supportive and permanent housing, employment
readiness, and individualized case management.
Every day, our team works alongside individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability; listening, advocating, and helping people move toward stability and self-sufficiency.
We are walking in Winter Walk Chicago on February 8th in Humboldt Park to stand in solidarity with our unhoused neighbors during the coldest months of the year, to raise awareness and vital funds, and to remind our community that homelessness is not an individual failure; it is a community responsibility. Walk with us and our unhoused neighbors and fellow advocates to show that compassion is stronger than stigma; and that together change is possible. Because change happens when people show up, together.
Register to walk, fundraise for Friends, or
give a gift! Every step helps build a future where everyone has a safe,
dignified home and the resources they need to rebuild their lives. Click the
button at the top of the page titled Register to register today! If you cannot walk but would like to donate to support an individual team walker, or in general, you can click on Donate Today at the top of the page. Thank you for helping us to raise awareness and that together, change is possible.
