I'm Hunk, Brett and Kate's yellow lab. I'm participating for a second year in Chicago's Winter Walk to support Franciscan Outreach. Did you know that one of Franciscan Outreach's smaller shelters also houses pets? That's right, they allow owners to stay with their beloved dogs even when experiencing homeless and I'm here to support it! I hope you'll join me on my walk. I give out free pets (that would be you petting me ♥️). On February 8th, 2026, I’ll be walking in the Winter Walk Chicago to raise awareness and funds for our unhoused neighbors. This powerful event brings housed and unhoused people together in solidarity, reminding us that everyone deserves safety, dignity, and a place to call home.
